Our picnic is right around the corner!!!
Saturday May 31, 2008 11am - 4pm
Please join us for our annual picnic! This year we've joined with SMMAS for this event! Please bring your families! The picnic will be held at Quiet Waters Park http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/par...t_waters_park/ at the Dogwood Pavilion. When you come to the gates tell the park ranger you are with "The Fish Club" and your parking will already be paid for by us. The clubs are bringing the drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls and condiments. Be sure to bring your favorite side dish or one of our favorite side dishes even! We're going to have frags for sale to be announced at a later time and don't forget we're still selling raffle tickets for MACNA and will be drawing the winner at the picnic. CMAS is pleased to welcome Mitch Carl of Omaha Zoo and James Fatherree, author of numerous books and articles pertaining to the hobby with his most recent being "Giant Clams in the Sea and Aquarium"!
CMAS Presents Mitch Carl
Mitch Carl is an aquarium supervisor at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. Carl has been a major part of an international team of scientists and aquarium specialists to participate in a major effort to establish captive populations of elkhorn coral, using eggs and sperm gathered in the wild. Mitch currently oversees a 26,000 gallon Sulawesi Beach Tank, a 6000 gallon SPS tank and a 2000...

We would like to welcome you, your family, and friends to yet another CMAS Season. I hope that everyone enjoyed their summer and had a chance to see some wonderful Tank Tours. We have quite a lineup of speakers setup for this season and we hope that you are looking forward to it as much as we are!!
